FirstPost: Can the Indian Railways stop asking others to clean its s***?

I dig that First Post is willing to eschew euphemisms and go where no newspaper (that I’ve before read) has gone before…!

I try to not to swear; I especially try to refrain from the S-word.

Why?  It’s as normal and natural as waterfalls or pine cones or marble.  How is more polite to say “poo” or or “B.M.” or “#2″…?  It gives the same mental image.  Leaving notes as a dogwalker especially made me wonder what, exactly, the difference really was.  And yet, it’s a difference I recognize (and follow).

Incidentally, I had previously thought that trains in India just drove over any human waste on the tracks; I had no idea Dalits manually removed it.  I never thought the waste on the tracks was a huge deal; now I’m not so sure.
