THE WALKING DEAD (Pilot)

Finally, the glowing praise compelled me to delve into this acclaimed and beloved series’ pilot, in which: White Protagonist wakes up confused in hospital; he exits and explores a deserted urban wasteland void of humans, until he meets a Black Badass who saves White Protoganist from a zombie, threatens to kill if he doesn’t adapt to the New Reality fast enough, and gives all necessary exposition to the ex-coma patient.

I liked it a lot when it was the second ten minutes of 28 DAYS LATER. Stretched out to a full hour, it made me decide to skip Episode 2.

The television medium is really great for fiction; too bad it’s so often so slow.
