Flag of Earth

I learned this week of James W. Cadle’s creation of a flag of Earth, which I like:

I always have wanted to see a global flag representing the entire planet; I’m a cosmopolitan anti-nationalist and a great patriot of humanity.  If I owned my apartment building, I’d attach a flagpole up on its southwest corner and fly this flag.

On special days I’d swap it out for a pirate flag, of course.

This flag was flown at half-mast for Carl Sagan’s death; I also learned that James Cadle was a farmer.  Just sayin’!
