Eventually, ISIS will once again be an ancient deity… You heard it first here.

People are all shocked and horrified that the US and the West just “stands there and lets ISIS build up the Islamic State”.

Look, I’m no genius, but hey, I did predict exactly that Iraq would cost the whole entire war, and be a financial drain on the whole economy (each of our stopped clocks are all right twice a day). Here’s one thing I really do think:

They’re just letting ISIS consolidate.

Am I crazy?

I’m just saying, that’s what I think.

I know, I sound like a crazy person rambling in a café.

It’s just my sense.

I’m not just saying that because Obama is president.

I’m not saying he’s perfect or etc.

But…

That’s what I think he’s doing.

Exhibit A:

What did they ALWAYS say about the impossibility of beating the terrorists, hence the huge war costs?

“This is no ordinary enemy. They have no state. No borders. No government. No territory. They are nebulous and intangible and almost impossible to fight.”

 Not anymore!!!!

I get it, I’m crazy, and plus I don’t read CIA briefs or etc., but I really think the US and allies are totally just letting ISIS build up a big hornet’s nest. And when the hornets are all inside, they’ll march in like the last final push into Nazi Germany. Bang bang bang, war crimes trials, with a century of lesser, smattered “neo-ISIS” movements to follow

It’s just what I think.

*IF* that is indeed Obama’s plan, then I hope he gets to pull the trigger. But hey, if another President gets to, whatever. I’m just saying, all feelings about Obama aside, it’d change black history and it’d change black lives and humanity’s future/history.

I’ve heard from a serious US-history mega-geek that when Kennedy and Johnson watched the space rocket take off, Johnson said, “Shame it couldn’t have been a Negro.”

Now, people can hear that, and believe that Johnson hated blacks and wanted to “get rid of one on the rocket, har har”.

It depends on your perspective how you will interpret what Johnson said.

I personally accept the version that Johnson knew that sending a goddamned black man from a line of slaves into space as America’s first ever Man To Enter Orbit would have changed freaking history forever.

We probably would have been able to skip over Affirmative Action completely.

But putting a couple of black Americans on the moon in the 60’s would have eliminated the need for history to give us Barack Obama. Michael Jackson would have turned out differently; he might still be alive. We’d have probably had a black PM or at least major Mayor or Premier by now. We obviously can’t tell, but I could suggest that Rodney King and many riots of the 70s would not have happened. There would have been major black movie stars and TV stars by 1971. A black woman might have ushered the mobile phone into popular existence before 1985 (you probably know that cellular phones existed in the 1930’s). Shirley Chisholm (or another) could have been President by 1980, or certainly by 1990, I do believe. Heck, Oprah might never have existed, and the pope could have been black already. That’s the kind of affirmative action that would have been truly historic. It’s a missed opportunity. And such a great, among missed opportunities. Literally, that kind of event could have maintained STAR TREK on the air another six years, with a handsome dashing black crewmember joining the team (in another dimension, this character is Lt. Terrell, and is performed by Paul Winfield). That kind of event would have changed little KKK clan member’s kids perspectives on the whole world. It’s too bad, I think. But, hey, so is World War II and Pompeii. It just is what it is. Putting a black guy (in danger!) in space is the right kind of Affirmative Action: huge mega-results for one single prominent job. Many capable black men would have volunteered to tackle space.

Anyways, while everyone frets about ISIS, that fretting (and public displays of fear about the might and strength and power and prowess and luck and abilities) may all be part of the System’s plan.

Who really knows?

We just can’t know anything about the news or the world.  Everything is blind and deaf speculation.
