Days Without Sugar: Day 200, surprising even myself

When I began the window scoreboard, I didn’t see this coming:

Whoa, cowboy!

Last weekend, Joe Andrzejewski took me to Downsview Park to see Tegan & Sarah and Fun.  I rarely see live music, so it was a real experience for me.  It was a lot like a fall fair in its layout and atmosphere, and in its food.

Reader, I will long remember our arrival, weaving through the crowd; I spotted ever so many treats in hands, and it seemed almost choreographed like in a movie shot, so as to avoid repetition of seeing the same treat twice, and to present each one in a full, unobstructed visual to the lens.  Not all of them were sweet; many, like Colossal Onion, were savory instead, and Reader, I recognized that none of them tempted me, and that all of them would have tempted me, but for my window scoreboard keeping me off of sugar.  That arrival walk through the grounds made a deep impression on me.

The next day, last Sunday, I took an afternoon moment to work on a new Number 2, preparing for Day 222.

It’s the 2 which you see above, marking Day 200.

Tracing and painting went so much quicker then initially measuring and compassing all of the first set of numbers that I had time to make a new Number 3, as well.
